Off-topic but, part quality?

I have considered buying from them before.

Depends, could be afmkt new, oem reconditioned, CAPA certified, afmkt recondition, taken straight off a wrecked car, etc. Engines and trans usually come with some sort of 12k/12mo warranty.

I had to price out an engine today for a 07 Mini CooperS with 27k, ended up being a total loss, $6000 for the engine alone.

sucks dude. i took out 2 new cars, at separate times, at honda when i worked there. thats why the dealership has insurance, you shouldnt have to pay for it.

its a ****ty feeling for sure, but its whatever dude, just learn from your mistake and move on.

Yep yep, it happens to the best of us! I got lucky while I worked at Nissan and never wrecked a car, but I swear pulling a titan up next to an Armada in a tight area was a PITA! This outta make you feel better... My buddy used to be a porter at GMC. He clipped a brand spankin' new c6 corvette with the back of a 3500 Silverado duallie! Took the corner too sharp..
