yup, yet another project. this one actually started summer of LAST year before i got into my accident which then led to 6months in the paint shop and only recently getting the car back. anyways im just gonna run through this kinda quick and not give specifics as i dont have the model #of speaker components off the top of my head. i'll go into detail about each item as i work on installing that part.
quick run down...
AIR
Struts: AirREX
Management: Accuair E-level with i-level
Compressors: Dual Viair 444c
Tanks: Dual 3 gallon
AUDIO
Front Speakers: Hertz HSK 3 way
Rear Speakers: Hertz HSK 2 way
Sub: Morel Ultimo 12
Amps: Alpine PDX M12 (sub)
Alpine PDX F6 (speakers)
Battery: XS Power D3400
Alternator: Mechman 240A alternator
Wiring: main power is 0 guage with 4gauge for the individual items
Deadening: Knukonceptz Kno Knoise (2 different thicknesses in various areas)
PICS
trunk striped and cleaned.

Starting to apply the Knukonceptz KnoKnoise deadening:

cut out stock jack holder to give me more space.

Fast forward....
all seams were sealed with foil tape to keep the butyl from running during extreme heat. looks like one big piece now.

removing all the old stuff:

put a few small strips on the backside of the panels too

new wrapped 12gauge speaker wires coming from the front and the rear deck to this corner, RCAs are here too. everything audio SIGNAL related is in this corner while the POWER and AIR lines are going to be on the other side.

stripped down the harness that goes into the trunklid and deleted the unnecessary stuff (i have a shaved trunk), remaining wires were wrapped and reattached while the unnecessary stuff was rolled up and zip tied out of the way in the corner.

this was something i messed up years ago when i got the trunk, i tried to inject expanding foam into the gap between the CF and the fiberglass skeleton.... i failed. the foam ended up bowing the CF upwards, so i cut out the panels between the skeleton and carved all the foam out, hence the yellow mess all over. anyways moving on... solving the issue of the CF rattling against the skeleton a different way... by injecting silicone between the 2 layers and then deadening the whole damn trunk, even parts of the inside i could reach. this thing is SOLID now.

i know some of you are wondering how much weight i just added with all this deadening, roughly 50lbs. i could care less.
everything up there^^^ happened around June/July of last year. now that i have the car back, everything from here on out is present day...
i started by using cardboard to make templates for the wood bases for the air ride stuff but i forgot to take pics so here are the actual 1/2" MDF pieces cut...
compressors will go on the sides and will eventually get covered up by an amp rack on both sides, tanks/management will go down in the spare tire well, sub will be fiberglassed against the back of the rear seats. i have a vision of how everything will look, you'll just have to be bare with me as i work on stuff.

mocking things up, manifold is going to be elevated above the ECU. I am eventually going to run hardlines but for the time being, im just going to use the vinyl lines to get things working first.
