^^^Well you could always go with a Dualsport Trek? They have mountain bike frames, but with larger wheels/skinnier tires and then the gears are better suited for going faster than your average mountain bike.

The 2012 Treks look awesome BTW

I honestly can not remember....It was a part we had laying around the shop. If your talking about the road?

I think it might be the Shimano Tiagra FC4550. But yeah I am still running Tiagra components.. I can't get myself to upgrade on such an old bike. I want to go SRAM Force though

Do it!!! I really should get some better components though, but they would easily outweigh the worth of the bike. And since I am not longer at the shop I do not get the free stuff, but I do still get a discount. I was actually looking at some closeout Trek Paragon's earlier today. But they only have them in 21" now...sigh

I seriously cant say enough about 29ers. I am in love with mine. The Paragon is a dirty girl though, lots of scuffs and scrapes from being a 4 year old race bike. My fork is getting replaced soon though, which will be fun, and new wheels are coming this fall in the form of Mavic C29ssmax's (finally!) so it should be a whole new machine.

I just am not sure if I can go 29er.. I have been on quite a few from the shop days and they just feel so big. Every time I was on one it felt like I was riding a bike 2 big for me. I just want a full suspension, I think....

That could work, not like I go rock hopping, lol.

Yea their bikes just get better and better looking.

What size frame is your 6500?

It is 18.5" My previous one was 19.5" and that fit good also, but the 6500 was on closeout and I really liked the handling of being on a smaller frame.
