I was 200 lbs 2 weeks ago and I'm only 5'7". I'm now 185 just biking and playing basketball. So I'm pretty heavy myself. I wear the padded cycling short under my regular short, so it doesn't look that bad. Lol

Ah....true, good idea!

Nice, 15lbs in two weeks!

I'm 6'2", so I don't look overweight, but I try and hide it well.

When I started cycling for real, I actually gained weight because I was so skinny before, I weigh like 165 now. That is up from 150 at Christmas.

I would be happy getting back down to 220 and lowering the body fat.

I know riding will do that, slowly getting back in to doing more excercising, but always enjoyed going for a bike ride.

I worked on an old specialized allez today at work. I would keep an eye on those wheels if you are riding lots. With such a small amount of spokes it may go out of true faster. Good looking bike though!

I finally got a jersey and some tight pants haha. Amazing how much better it feels to wear that instead of what I was. I also never would take nutrition but this ride I did and I did not hit the wall once while riding. I felt good the whole time minus one climb.

We almost should update this thread and have everybody post their rides. Just make it like the other groups and list each member, and what they ride :D

Seriously! These wheels are kinda scary especially I'm heavy. That's why I wanted to pick up Mavic Ksyrium Elite.

How much do you think I'd be able to sell these wheels?

I'm bouncing around 166-170, depends on activity and eating habit. I'd love to be 175 with more muscle mass though - I'm 5'10".

Eric, I agree, I think there needs to be a post your ride in here as well.

I guess I can post the current ride, even in it's unrideable state. :lawl:

It's really nothing impressive, but it did the job.

With all the bike discussion, I do think I will have to get a replacement at some point.
