You're using the oem CL-S camshaft or cam gear?

Does anyone know gains with the boomslang and without?

I just looked up the part number on a site for the cam shaft. 14100-PGE-A00 Camshaft FR do i need the RR too? It's going for 134 each.

Boomslang is a company that makes a harness that connects an fuel controller to your ECU

Is there a perference for the controller? Rather then the neo, what about the e-manage ultimate or unichip? I need the FR and RR camshaft?

Best bet would be to find a shop/tuner who's familiar with a particular tuning software. Rather than picking one and trying to find a tuner.

This link above should give you some info as well as a parts list for the swap.

FR - front head camshaft RR - rear head camshaft. Buy the FR and RR.

98-00 w/ Distributor, you need to machine the Rear cam for the distributor. Dunno what to recommend to have it machined.
01-02 w/ DIS, no cam machining is needed.

I recommend you do the cam swap in addition to a timing belt/water pump change. It will be more cost effective if you do it all at once.

Tuning - I run the UNICHIP in my car, and will need to have it re-mapped or tuned along with my CL-s cams and intake upgrade. UNICHIP does have a map for the CL-s cams as V6P members had this done. You could buy a used one and have it re-mapped or re-tuned. Might even be a website that sells the UNICHIP new w/ the necessary map you need.

The Apexi S/VAFC's and E-manage are over my head, can't help you there. One thing I do know is that you can use the Apexi unit for tuning w/ cams, but the UNICHIP would yield more HP/TQ for tuning. not much more, but more.
