Just got my components together, I just need to find time to install it....

I got my setup through a seller off ebay - decent_deals. He set up a custom auction so i saved on shipping. Awesome dude.

I got 5' of 1/0 gauge wire, gold/brass + & - terminals with (2) 1/0 AWG slots, and a 1/0 AWG grounding piece, and a 4 gauge to 8 gauge reducer. The RF distro block I had from an old amp kit...

so i got pwn'd today. i found out i bought 2 negative and not a negative AND positive terminal. so my positive terminal is temporary on for now. secondly, my battery died. BAHAHA. when i checked, it went down to 8volts. i guess my amp sucked it up bad. now i'm asking nikita (russianred) to jump for me which i'm waiting for him right now. hopefully nothing major will happen. *crosses fingers*

edit_found out my battery crapped out. i don't know how it would mess up right when i was putting the new terminal in. GAY! hopefully my lights doesn't dim as much for now.

Wow just realized how tiny your battery looks, or is that just a battery for the audio system? Oh and finally got what I was looking for. Though I had been screwed before by circuit city, I waited a little and they ended up temporarily lowering the price more than what I had wanted it for originally! lol yeah, jumped on it and it should be at my house by the end of the day. Not sure what I'm gonna be using and not using yet, but I'll let ya guys know what'll be up for grabs when I'm done. In case you're wondering which kit I'm talking about, it's the Tsunami AMP1040D kit. Splurged a bit on the shipping so it'd be here with time to spare before the Rocky Neck meet lol.

Question....
I did that exact layout for the engine-chassis ground.
My friend who owns a performance upgrade shop that doesn't do **** that's the power steering.
Is that grounded in the wrong place....because it really does look like it's connected to the power steering, and not the alternator.

the alternator and everything else is mounted directly to the engine, any bolt on any of those components will suffice as a Block connection. After trying to crank on a few different bolts without any success, I chose location shown

You can bolt it up to whatever you want. That wasn't meant to be connected to the alternator. I didn't do the battery -> alternator wire.
