black out head light question

I've used so many different kinds on each set of headlights I've made for myself and I've realized that it just doesn't matter what kind of paint you use.

thank you all for the input. i really wanted it to look stock, but i'm thinking of color matching it.

dude, the best look is a spray called "trim black"...it comes in a green can, not sure of the brand. but it looks the best, same as oem and coats very fine and even. just remember that if you tape off sections of the housing ( which you should like by the side signal ) use a hairdryer or light heat gun when you peel the tape off or it will take bits of the chrome finish with it...not pretty.

I was looking to mask off that area. My car is a daily driver, so i really don't want to give the cops a reason to pull me over. even tho there giving me sh*t for the H.I.D's.

yeah. like night shades.... it helps your turning signals reflect better....

1/3 flat black + 1/3 semi gloss + 1/3 gloss black + a hint of metallic flake and click your heals 3 times + 2 cart wheels and one 2 minute micheal jackson dance montage is the way to go.
