Any of you MT owners out there upgraded your clutch line to a SS unit?
They're out there for the 4th, 5th and 7th gens, so I'm assuming that atleast the 4th and 5thgen would work with our trannies since they're pretty much the same. Just wondering if anyone has or knows of anyone that has. What kit they used, how is it, install, etc...
Are you referring to a full line from master to slave? I've done a great amount of research on this topic, and can say that it's not a good idea. Even braided SS lines will expand a little, and that's especially true if you compare them with the stock hard line that doesn't expand at all.
Most people just replace the short rubber flex line with a braided SS line, but on most other hondas, it's as simple as unscrewing the flex line and screwing in the SS line. Unfortunately for us our flex line is compression crimped into the hard line.
A better route would be to cut out the rubber flex line and use Earl's fittings like shavedaccord said to install some SS line.
You would need to use -3AN fittings which aren't so easy to find, but it's possible with some searching. Flare the hardline and use a -3AN tubenut to that, then install hose fittings on about 12" of -3AN SS hose, and connect the two fittings together. On the master cyl side, use a 45 degree elbow between the hard line and hose to properly angle it.
I had all this figured out and researched, and was going to do this the last time I pulled my head off, but a friend who was supposed to supply the AN fittings never showed up.

From what Ive read, SS lines dont make the feel any different. Not sure about the clutch lines but the brake lines arent different.
They really don't, unless you're fixing a worn out and bleeding flex line like I am. The difference is that brake lines can produce about 10x more pressure than a hydraulic clutch line, so SS hose on brake lines makes a very noticeable difference.
