I don't think it's just the hose, since I have been having this problem for a while and the leak only started very recently.
Yeah, I had to drive about 3 miles home from a friends tonight and I was worried about it....I had a friend follow me home though. What is this bench bleeding you are talking about?
You have two fittings on your master cylinder. One is for the resevoir and the other is for the clutch line. To bench bleed you attatch the resevoir to the new master cylinder (if it didn't already come attatched) fill the resevoir to full. Insert a flexible line or bend an old brake line to loop from the clutch line fitting on the master cylinder into the resevoir. Then find your self a sturdy object to actuate the plunger against. This will fill the intenals of the master cylinder with fluid.
Not doing this can lead to blown seals and a leaky master cylinder. If you don't have an extra line to attatch for the bench bleeding they can be bought for fairly cheap at an auto parts store. Rigid tubing is sold by the foot I believe.
