clearly more of you need to be thinking like jmiller. i also plan to add matching chrome fender flairs and a wing to keep the back end down on the strip...

By 'nice', i meant making the car into something which is nice to look at, pleasing to the eye. People are posting about engine swaps and ****. No offense to the die hards, but i didnt buy a 99 accord with plans like that.

I was just trying to get a rough estimate, ive never looked into this stuff before. It seems like 500 for a kit, plus what another 500 for installation and paint? And for the drop, 3 feet was a joke. it sits higher then the outback which subaru considers an SUV. I dont want to cut springs, that seems stupid. So its another g to lower it right?

As for rims, 16 inch stock ones arent fancy, but its not like im on hubcaps. i can wait for a deal on rims.

Thanks for your help, i really wanted to see if it could be done for a grand, but i guess its deff. upwards of that.

it could be done for a grand. ksport coilovers, diy blackhoused headlights, and you could be done. who cares about stock wheels. you could prolly even find a cheap set of wheels for a few hundred....which would put you up in the $1500 range, but still under that. honestly, a lot doesnt need to be done to a car to make it look nice and turn some heads. my car doesnt have much done, but people are lookin all the time, no joke.

its stock height roy.......its feet, hahaha

my full coilovers were $800. you can find them for less....but it all depends on what kind of suspension you want too. so that, plus whatever wheels you get, diy blackhousing headlights, and maybe tint, and it would be clean.you could deff have a clean car on a $2k budget.

clean car on a 2k budget?..damn i wish i can do that..i spent roughly close to 8k and still havnt done yet.i didnt even mess with my exterior yet..i didnt even add the cf hood price in yet...:ownedrun:
