i'd be less concerned about the quality of the gas and more concerned about the quality of the pump
blissful ignorance ftw. That's the way I see it anyways, lol.
I have a hard time believing anything is purely American anymore.

Clearly you have neve been to White Castle.
How is that blissful ignorance?
With the cheaper gas probably getting worse mpg, you fill up more, which contradicts the gas being cheaper, but with the higher priced gas, I believe it gets better mpg, but you don't really save much money because you pay more. I think all it comes down to is what you want to put into your car. I plan on having my car until I get out of school, maybe even a little longer, so I'd rather have the cleanest gasoline I can find. Excuse me for wanting to put the best gas in my car, and not having whatever isn't filtered out of the other gas getting into my engine, which won't have any immediate effects, but over a long period of time, it might actually if not harm it, then hinder it's performance or mpg at the least. That's just my opinion, but it's definitely not ignorance. You don't have to agree with me if you don't want to, but don't call me ignorant.
you do know that most of the gas comes from the same place right? that there are no major differences between brands. they all are required to have a certain amount of additives (per the EPA) and your feelings toward one brand over another have more to do brand loyalty than quantitative quality
