Maybe they are liquidating their inventory to make room for a new/better kit?

I'm using Luminics jdm yellow halogen bulbs on my fogs right now. Will the 3000k hids be a big difference?

Yes, there is a big difference. Toaster417 has the DDM 3k hids for his fogs. I'm going to help him with his headlights this Sunday in Mira Mesa, your more than welcome to stop by and check them out yourself.

FYI, supposedly a former employee posted this on the web:

http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=787031

I have 6000k bulbs and ballast from DDM and my roommate has 8000k bulbs and ballast from them, and there is a difference.

is the 55watt better to get??than the 35watt

I have 35W and they are very bright. I've also heard that the higher wattage you go, the "whiter" the color of beam would be? (8000k would be more closer to 6000k-ish) Correct me if I'm wrong about this..

Yeah, I thought that's been the price for quite some time now

I bought my set 2 years ago when they still had the "fat" DDM kit. I actually paid $45 and they sent me the "slim" kit instead which costed like $15 more

But.. it would have some problems at first like the passenger side not turning on sometimes and I would have to switch the lights on and off a couple times to get both sides working. Then the passenger side completely died out after a year. Defective ballast maybe?

I might give these guys another try and buy another set sometime down the line..
