Debadging Emblem Problem. Help!

I certainly hope that he doesn't have to resort to touch up paint. It might be more trouble than it's worth and if the application was poorly executed - might look worse than it is now.

yea most of the times the glue eats into the clear and it pretty much stains it. so they only real way of getting rid of that is by repainting/clearing ur whole trunk... kinda sucks

careful with goo goo gone... it'll fade off or take off the paint too... i have a problem too so i just put the badge on again... maybe u should too... LOL...

Word, I just don't understand the reason to "de-badge" a car. It's kinda ridiculous, unless your car was missing a letter or something. I don't see any point. It's not going to hide the identity of the car, only a fool would not know it's an accord.

Same thing happened to me. Where the "Accord" badge used to be, the paint is chipped because of the glue. I still haven't decided what to do...I know touch up paint wouldn't be a good choice.

Honestly so you do it right and it looks good, I'd just buy another one from the dealer or ebay.
