How hard was it to remove the sunroof? Mine stopped working and I'm gonna rip it out this summer.

its not too hard...i had to cut the drainage tubes off cause they were kinda dry rotted in place....other than that...just unplug everything and have someone help you as you unbolt it...it does weigh a bit....and is large...so it's hard to maneuver by yourself(esp when drunk :hihi)

holy fudge! i jus saw this thread and i'm in awe. I cant believe this 6th gen is being stripped to the bone. this is awesome! I hope the project goes well, i'm definately subscribing to this thread. jus a few questions though:

1. How much did your back seats weigh? alot?
2. How difficult was it to take off the driver's seat?
3. (I havent searches yet, but) Did you do the retrofit yourself? Was it difficult?

This is just great, im excited to see how much this thing weighs and how everything will look and perform when finished. good luck!

GreddyAccord99, this is quoted from a post a little to the top of this page:

i really don't know the exact type of paint used...these headlights were made by Richard Park at www.customlightz.com

That should answer your question about the headlights??

Back seat is just foam, doesn't weigh that much..

Taking out the drivers seat is easy dude.. there 4 bolts. Use a ratchet. Plz.

Enjoy.

He sent them out. The leather just covers the foam, the weigh difference is minimal between that and cloth.
