I looked at swapping to a different one, either an adjustable or some other Honda but there wasn't enough information so I just left it alone. I've only had to get on the brakes hard once and I don't remember the fronts locking up. I would think you would need to know the orifice sizes and ratio before making an informed decision.

I had a 40/40 prop valve, never installed it. It's definately different from ours. Would take a little reworking of the lines. I only locked mine up twice and that's b/c I had to avoid hitting a deer.

Just to clarify, I just need to get all of these parts (calipers, knuckles, rotors, pads, and brake lines) OEM V6 for my 98 Accord Lx? That sounds too simple to be right.

Also, how will this mod effect the offset/placement?

and the ebrake cables, but yeah, that's it. and it shouldn't effect the offset at all.

Alright, so I know this is going to be extremely redundant, as I've almost already asked this same question. However, I'm ordering my parts tomorrow, so I would like to further clarify the parts list included in the first post.

V6 Front Knuckles L and R
V6 Front Calipers L and R
V6 Rear Knuckles L and R
Rear EX (4cyl) or V6 Calipers L and R
EX (4cyl) or V6 parking brake lines
V6 Rear Brake Lines
V6 Rotors/Pads F and R
New Brake Fluid

Also, the parts are all identical for the V6 98-01, correct? I know the store will ask what year/model, and I plan to have them look through each year to look for any price variations.

Thanks again. This is probably the one mod I've been most looking forward to. I remember asking a few mechanics if it was possible. It seemed perfectly reasonable since the V6 and i4 were otherwise nearly identical, but they just told me the parts wouldn't match up.

Just to clarify about the rear calipers...

I drive an i4 coupe and my rear calipers are the same from a v6 sedan. The v6 coupe uses different rear calipers.

I bought knuckles when I did my swap and luckily I was able to get them from a v6 sedan so everything lined up perfectly. There is no difference in the front calipers, only the rear
