DIY Trimbrite Eyelids

Costs $10. You can either use the blackout tape of the carbon fiber tape. I used the carbon fiber tape, but the regular blackout tape only costs $5 a roll.
Just incase anyone was curious how it would come out here are some pics.

1.) Use wax paper and tape over headlight and sketch the shape of the eyelid
2.) Put wax paper over carbon fiber tape (blackout tape you can just put right on headlight) and take pen and draw over the outline of the eyelid that you made. This will make an impression on the tape.
3.) Cut out the eyelid
4.) SAVE THE WHITE PAPER THE TAPE COMES ON! You can flip it over and redo this process making a mirror image of the first headlight and you'll be done.

I like these. I might do them and make them uneven on purpose so it looks like the car is winking or something weird like that.

I tried lol :) I ain't no machine lol cant cut perfectly but thought I would give it a shot and eyeball it haha

i got 2 rolls of trimbrite laying in my trunk..thanks for the inspiration to do a new weekend project :thumbsup:
