So last night i was changing my dome light bulb for a brighter one, i ended up blowing the fuse, changed it, but now when i shut my door the light still stays on and wont shut off, unless i keep it on the off setting..anyone have any ideas what it could be

i find it unusual of how it could blow a fuse. but did you change to a higher/lower volts fuse? that might be the problem.

I know it's an old thread. :ohsnap: But I just had this happen to me also. Anyone know what is wrong? I replaced the fuse with the exact same size and it still stays on.

I've had this problem forever, I tried installing cheapo autozone leds and shorted something out. I dunno wtf it could be but I miss my dome light dimming out and turning off on it's own.

Well I bought a whole new dome light and the light still won't turn off without manually turning it to "off." Any suggestions?

Passenger, I think. Same thing happened to mine. I disconnected the passenger multiplex and the light cut off when it was set to door.
