I cannot imagine polishing that, huge pain. Nice work. I have the same headers.

Is the CF protected since it's under the paint/clearcoat, or could it still yellow from sun/time?

It's protected. The clear has UV blockers in it. And considering there are 6 layers of tinted clear and 2 more layers of just plain clear.... I think I'm safe haha

I think you told me before, Vimal, but have you changed your mind about the stock engine?

It's looking more and more out of place in there!

I'm not changing the motor itself but I am gathering parts for a j32a2 intake manifold/tb swap. And polish up a few things and make it look better. I live in California and I daily this car so I have to keep it simple. The lower runners and upper intake manifold are on the way, they're both light ported already too. Need to find a j32a2 TB now. Then I can order the p2r TB spacer and intake manifold thermal gasket kit too. I also have beastly alternator and battery ready to install. Mechman 240A alternator and XS power d3400 battery (oversized). I'm also considering doing a mild wire tuck as well and eventually smooth out the engine bay,cut and rebox the shock towers and repaint it (probably keep it black since I like it that way)

At least that will give the engine a bit of a makeover as well.

It's only fair, since the rest of the car is getting so much attention.

got a SWEET little surprise this morning... Japan to my door in under 4 days!

Volk Racing G25 18x9.5+22, if i can get these to reliably fit the front then these will go on the front, if not then i'll put these on the back with a spacer and order 2 more of the same rim with a higher offset and sadly a little less concave too. IF these work for me in the front, then i may consider ordering some 10.5+25 wheels for the back. or i may just keep the same for all 4 wheels and just space out the back... still need to think about it.

Anyways, here they are, my first set of BRAND NEW wheels ever.

This wheel is available to 4 levels of concave, this is level 3. level 4 is only available on some ridiculous 20x11 or something like that.

nice wheels! they look a lot like your old ones haha

well here's a photo of one of my rears up front for reference. its a 18x9+33 with a 215/40 on it. the fender is pulled slightly and natural camber. I'm pretty sure my ride height is higher than yours
