bottom line is if he gets a good header and exhaust sytem he will most likely back fire and pop flames a lil without "fucing" his car up or running a lil rich...

Well, your giving off the impression that your car is modded to the extent of alot of cars that you see pop a flame out.

If I saw a car do that and went up to the guy and said " Man, I saw your car shoot a little flame out earlier while you were driving. What is all done to it? And he responded with " I fouled out, or removed an 02 sensor so my car would shoot a little flame" I would think its pretty ricey..

Listen, if you have to harm your vehicle to pull this off with out doing a flame kit, then I wouldn't recommend it. If you can do it with a turbo back exhaust, and no CEL, then go for it.

Your original post says not expensive, so ricers saying get headers back to the muffler tip aftermarket won't be cheap at all. And you don't want to get a flame kit.

that's what it comes down to. people always say "its my car, haters gonna hate...i dont care what they say"...but when you have to justify it to someone else, aloud, in real life--especially to another enthusiast--be prepared to get laughed at.

If its gonna happen when i go catless and run rich on a tune then good. But that's about all im gonna do until i mod more of the engine. I dont want to destroy my car in the process. After i do injectors, pulleys, turbo and all that i'll see if i can get a little bang.

And it's here just because im more familiar with people here. It isn't like only subarus can shoot flames. People here know just as much about cars as they do over on nasioc.
