Just out of curiousity, how much is he saying this is gonna cost you? Oh and do you have a build list of everything he's using parts wise?

price: .......we have a shop in buffalo involved.. hybrid connection....
they will do the majors..we are doing the minors...will have definite price when done...but as you can see i am not just doing the swap and turbo....
here in buffalo snows a lot...a lot of salt....the suspension parts before mentioned are rusted.../damaged....replacing a lot of those parts too...and upgrading...or powder coating....or swaping.....parts of the exahust are rusted too, even though it was stainless steeel...guesss i scratched....
part list: yes, will list later...when i am done......a lot of this (because i am NEWBIE) IS A LEARNING PROCESS...yes, i read a lot on line and testing a lot of them....if i don't like it then put it on ebay....and buy new parts....
yes i could do more research and have the knowledge to answer all your questions but i prefer the hard way....i guess...learning from mistakes...

Honestly I think this kid should do more research before starting. Is the tech gonna fabricate the head? Does he know what distributor to use? Which intake manifold? Will the block be fortified? and the biggest question WHEN NOT HOW OR WHY will that motor blow when it is pounded at 6800rpm as BlkCurrantKord said. No disrespect to you but I hope you really checked all these through.

PS: How will it be tuned? What about your basemaps? using VAFC? Uberdata? Hondata? Chrome?

Not a build for a Noob unless you did good research. Im nowhere near ready and ive been researchin this build for 2 months.
there comes a time when ...never mind....and no disrespect taken...
i don't have deep pockets but if something is going to take us 5 hours to do it and the shop charge us 3hours then i prefer having them do it...
but them easy parts are done by us to save money.....and alot of direct swaps....are done by us...

I thought it was common sense to get a quote BEFORE any work is done, and in writing so they can't tack on anything.

No offense but what research have you done? I mean you can't even really answer the questions we're asking you.

are pissed at me because i am doing it and you can't with all the knowhows that you have?
you are right,it's common sense, so what? do i have to do it that way?
i do not know you, but have you ever had something custom made or done in a shop? most of the shops that i went to ,they won't give you a final price...
i have never seen any shop that will give you an upfront price on installing a turbo kit! yeah ball park number is 1680 but they charge hourly so if they think it's more then...... i have never seen anybody posting complete price on installing a turbo.
