I just got off the phone with Bisi from Bisimoto Race Engineering. He says that the F series motors have a TON of potential. In fact, more than the H series. As I was told, the head has a lot of potential to flow great, and with the right cam profile/cam gear/tune, should yield some great power (10-15%).

Just as a heads up to everyone with the F series motor (I know there's a lot of us), that don't think it has all motor potential. Well, it does :p :D There are also many more tuning options for obdI rather than obdII.

I figured this will get some heads turning towards sticking with the F23 rather than swapping the H22. Now, I am not, I repeeat, not knocking the H22 in any way, shape, or form. I just got some new information that I thought some of the 6th gen's who want to stick N/A with the F23 might like to know. Happy tuning :afro:

Bisi usually uses the F22A motors b/c of their lighter valvetrain components and easy availability. By lighter valvtrain this means the rocker assembly, not the springs/retainers, etc. Most of his engine work is all custom stuff but from the few e-mails I've traded with him he'll pretty much help you build up your F22/23 and offers a lot of good info and guidance.

He told me after the IHE that I have to go with a Stage 1 Camshaft and Cam Gear. He then said to convert to obdI and use something like Uberdata or Crome, and possibly Hondata. All in all, this will be in upwards of $1000, but I'm sure will be worth it (10-15% power increase).

EDIT: He didn't say i HAVE to go with the cam. I meant from what i already have done to the car, that is what he suggested. Sorry if that was unclear.
