First attempt at night C&C please

my bad its called a softbox. i think it would help clicky...maybe i'm wrong. i havent dealt with flash stuff yet just been reading about things

EDIT: basically what i mean is you probably need some type of diffuser.

Thanks kn0x I'll look into it.
Hood pins are really annoying like that. If you get the pepboys special, you'll hear them flip flap and vibrate. If you use these "flush pins" supposedly good brand name, they WILL eventually get stuck and the flap is going to end up breaking.

I love the first and third pic. Seriously, nice work! flash does wonders.....so which telephoto lens did you use?

Didn't use a telephoto but the stock lens and 50mm. And yes, now i see how combo of flash and tripod can be so great!

Thanks guys. Last shot is in the garage. Now the problem is, using the stock lens or 50mm would give reflections and using a telephoto wasn't enough light. How do i tackle this situation?

circular polarizers help with reflections I believe.
