I'm not saying that getting into the accidents is heading in the wrong way but i guess that is in it too. I'm just saying as in general, messing up my life by choosing other things over more important things. Sorry if i wasn't clear on that.

just make better decisions dude, think before you act

Man, if I always listened to what my parents say, I'd be much, much more depressed in where my life it. They WANT you to sell your car, is your name on the title? Do you WANT to sell your car?

I get tickets like no other... had my license suspended, paid $1000+ in fines, etc. Not once did I think about selling the car or stop modding for that matter. The car is not the problem, it's the driver. I think other issues in your life are affecting your driving habits. I know issues in my life were. At the peak of my depression around Christmas '07, I racked up 3 tickets in 3 months. 2 were less than 2 weeks apart.

If you were driving a fast car, then yes, I'd say sell the damn thing. But our Accords are not, the only thing making them fast are heavy feet. Take your foot off the gas, think things through.

from my experience with my own strict and superficial asian parents.........suck it up and obediently listen to what they tell you even if you hate it....talking back does not work!!! the asian culture is strictly against it lol........anyways......do chores around the house and always eat dinner with them (VERY IMPORTANT LOL).....talk to them about anything during dinner.....they will know that you appreciate them and give you less unwanted advices after a while........keep this up and you can do whatever you want without them bugging you........it works for me so I hope it works for you too haha

They covered all that in the lecture. Yea that is what i'm planning on doing. i'm going to stay home more often and try to head back into the right direction. And as for my baby, imma try to keep her no matter what they say; thought it through while i was showering and shes gots nothing to do with it, its all me. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time thats all, i ain't a rectless driver.

you were coming up too man. yeah my dad thinks the same for me. i'm always out ever since i got my car. i've gotten in less trouble, but my grades suck. i haven't gotten into an accident yet, thank god, but then they think the accord made me change. think through it, if selling the accords REALLY gonna change things then thats your decision.

the car is not the problem....I agree with joseph about respecting your parents according to your culture but remember that every generation is supposed to be improved so you better take your problems and deal with them cause otherwise you'll need the guide of someone else....just follow your own decisions with caution adn you'll be ok...respect your folks and drive carefully...
good luck if you part out!!:thumbsup:

I think your parents are worried that you're detaching from them too quickly and getting out of their influence.........and these accidents are physical proofs of you heading in the wrong road from their perspectives

iono what to say about selling the car........how about NO! :D.....just work on spotting traffics and you'll be fine......no such thing as a cursed car :skurred:

Agreed with everything likeawp said. Just be more aware of your surroundings when driving. And about the "choosing other things over more important things..", there are things we regret doing and not doing in our lives. But they are in the past, learn from them and figure out what's important and go from there.

Just get your priorities straight... i assume thats what your parents are aiming at. As far as the car goes, just gotta be more careful. I got my first ticket a few weeks ago, for some stupid hill i went fast down to get up the other end and the cop was a dick. Either way, i have to pay for it and learn from it. Gl with your decision dude, and life.
