Re: FunnyVictor86's CG6 *update 05-04-2010*

how do the turns feel now with combo strut bars?

i actually haven't tried taking any hard turns yet, honestly i doubt i will notice any difference till i upgrade my anti-sway bars

Nice.

no i threw my aem cai back on ... it's coming back off though ... i think i'm going to paint my generic sri satin black, build an insulated box around it ... remove my passenger side fog and fab up a ram air pipe/tube to the box

why you taking off the aem cai? not as good as your generic one?

removing the passenger fog light is a good to get more air in there.

Did you ever resolve the Temp Gauge problem??
I read this earlier today and thought of your problem.....
(although it might not be related seeing as you're OBD2B Converted to OBD2B)

Special Considerations:

For those of you with 2000-2002 Accords, your engine temp gauge will stop working after converting to OBD1. This is because of the gauge cluster of 2000+ models, which are designed to work off of a pulse width module (PWM) signal which pulses, instead of holding a steady voltage like OBD1 and pre 2000 models.

In order for your temp gauge to work, you can do one of two things.

1. Purchase a $70 ECT adapter module from Modifry Products which converts the steady voltage from and OBD1 ECU to a PWM signal.

2. Find yourself some spare "B" and "C" OBD2B ECU plugs with a few wires still pinned in, and repin them for only the power, ground, sensor ground, ECT in, and ECT out. Basically running the stock ECU for the sole purpose of converting the ECT signal. This is the poor man's fix (my favorite kind), and I'll go into more detail about how to perform it later.

Which I found right here:

removing the passenger fog light is a good to get more air in there.

reason one is that it's a one piece cai and i don't want to hack it up to put a bypass valve ... reason two is that by using a sri and building my own ram air/cold air, that will help keep my power-band stronger at lower rpm's while still having the advantage of cooler air from a cai ... 6ga's are tanks, we need all the low end power we can get lol

nicest 6th gen ever man. keep it up.

note to self: save money for motor swap.

thanks bleek

no i haven't fixed it yet, i'm going to see if i can tinker with it tomorrow ... i think it's more of a wiring issue since both ecu's and motors are obd2b ... when i plug in my stock ecu temp works, when i use the euro r ecu temp doesn't work :eusa_wall:

Was wondering if perhaps by some odd chance the Euro R Temp Guage is more like the Pre-2000 models without the pulse width module??
Would a Pre 2000 Guage Cluster fit into your Dash Surround and do you have access to one to try out the Temp Guage??
