Look at it this way, do it once correctly, and you'll be happy. Do it wrong, and you'll have to take off your bumper again, and the headlight, reopen it, clean the entire inside of ALL moisture, reseal it, and put it all back together. Trust me, it's not fun. Been there, done that.
