Re: Going for a re-tune.... (updated 7/30/12 -- Dyno vid & info on Page 38)

I'm not sure about the turbo since they don't publish maps for them, but you're probably pushing it hard to get past 450. My 57 trim is starting to sweat a little at 19-21, but in theory it should still flow enough for 450 around 24-25psi if the head can keep up. That's asking alot of mysetup since it's all stock, but you should be good in that respect.

Aren't you on 1000's now? You should still be able to make 550 and maybe touch 600whp on ID1000's and E85 with a little extra fuel pressure. If you put all those fuel pumps to work, those injectors should almost perform like a 1600cc. For now, 600hp is just a pipe dream on this forum. I'd worry about it when you reach that mountain.

:lawl: ok, ok... we're waiting.

Yeah Nikita, spill the beans!

AF - I think the turbo can handle it, but we'll see. As far as the injectors, yes they will more than be able to handle it. Downside, they are precision 1000cc's and not ID's (which I really really want) so should be good there. I think it's just what the head can support and that's all.

First steps first though.

Last night I finished wiring in the engine bay, and running the 0 gauge wire through the interior to the trunk. I have some things to re-wire (in tank fuel pump, and the amp) but should be straight forward from here.

As far as the intercooler, should come in stock late this week and ship out next week.... PROGRESS once again!

I hear ya, i'm building a house right now so it's been slow progress on anything...

You can officially be invited to the WHP party, or you can crash it too, whatever fits to your liking.

Well intercooler just arrived yesterday. Perfect timing as I just got back from a trip. I'll post pictures of it later today. Attempt mounting it this week, finalizing battery relocation wiring, and finally a new intake for the turbo, and i'm good to go for spring!
