I totally agree with this...sure someone who has unlimited funds can afford to just throw on whateva and learn from mistakes and detonation...however there are some people that like to measure twice and cut once. I have a 1999 Accord Lx sedan and have been planning an H22 swap for 2 years. Throughout those two years I have switched the engine build up scheme about three times. Now I am confident with the parts I have chosen and began to buy them w/o regrets...now for the hard part...finding someone to successfully swap in the motor...I plan on converting from auto to manual during this engine swap

F series engines have potential that hasn't been really tapped yet. The H22 has a market that's more abroad than the F. Research is key in what you want to do. I myself am on the fence about build my F for boost, or doing an engine swap. I have shyed away from swapping an H22 just for the fact that it seems to be a more prevelant swap in 6thgens. Not to say that they are all over the place. I would say that you really need to research and figure how much money that you want to spend. After all that, than plan your route of attack from there and go forward.

Since you two F23 guys know all about this, what are highest documented numbers with either boost or N/A or both. Also I want the numbers for a streetable car. Just don't go astray with a G23 here cause that uses h technology.

What else would we be talking about? You and sonnick are so quick to tell me the F23's potential. Well lets see some real numbers. Greg you have already kinda told me what Bisi has said. But I have yet to see a single F23 powered street car out there making good numbers. So enlighten me, I assume everyone here knows what the H22 is capable N/A and boost wise.
Here I will even start things off. Here is 2point6's H22 and he even says he could be making 280whp with a cam switch. The most powerful N/A h22 street driven accord I know about. Here is all the info you need http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1843270

2point6 doesn't count here - He's got a completely one off setup and is damn near race only.

Now if you wanna start talking normal everyday setups that everyone is capable of copying, we'll keep this going. The key component here is that people are just now starting to tap into the F22's and F23's N/A potential.

F23/F22B1 head (same thing) - http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1691654

Bisimoto - "I use F series NA engines, and have secured many world records with this powerplant. It has tons of untapped potential. RSM has all the parts you need, and research has been done to yield parts support. You can make way more power with it than an H motor."

"H motors with similar mods to an F can only make close power when converted to alcohol (NA race engines). I think I would know!

I will be kind enough to give you hints why:
1. Valve angles.
2. Intake Port angles.
3. Valvetrain friction losses."

Jackhunt on here was supposed to hit 400whp soon, hasn't updated yet. Still searching for the highest F23 on boost though.
