I dont understand why people spend 2500$ on an H22..plus ATLEAST 800$ for swap(if 5spd already).that only has 200hp.
and can spend 1500$ on a decent turbo kit for the F23 and make that plus more? Is it for looks or bragging rights to say i swapped an h22?

More support to be honest and more reliable in way then turbo charged a f23. H22 are dirt cheap now a days also you can do a h22 swap for under 2k easy now a days.

so you would recommend a built H22 turbo swap..over a built f23 turbo? Sorry to thread jack man..i just wanna start a build soon and i wanna get my platform motor 1st.
Because i was gonna follow stinkers build and even our own hotaccords build.

For the money it will be cheaper to build a F23 but the H22 has better aftermarket support and it won't be cheap just depends. But for the Money F22 or F23 if your using your stock motor or have a spare cuz H22's are cheaper now but still will cost you. A local friend on stock block made over 300whp with his F23 turbo coupe and never had problems after driving it around for 2 years then he sold it.
