when you really think about it, NONE of our cars are really 100% functional because some are dropped so low u cant get around, High spring rates make for an uncomfortable ride, and loud mufflers dont do much performance wise so the car that is AT MOST HELLAFUNCTIONAL??

^I think we're talking about modded cars for people that enjoy better handling than stock can offer, etc. But the car can only be modded to the point where function is still greater than form. Once that line is crossed...:boo:

The term "functional" is relative. But it this case I'd think it would mean "to make things better, and not stock."

haha, even though i see pics of my car in this thread. i dont consider it hellafunctional. my overly large 225/40/18 General tires are causing me to rub in front. and it may not look like i have much camber but i do have -2.1 on all corners.

and over the winter, the suspension is going to be all revalved, new springs for the coilovers, new proper sized tires for my setup so i will for sure not be in this group anymore, haha.

Yeah I was trying to post cars that wern't lower to the point that the suspension geometry was having a negative effect on handling. Some of the cars I posted are borderline.

What I'm looking for is cars that are setup for function > form. Eg: lowered on a high quality spring/shock combo or full coilovers, upgraded sways, aftermarket wheels that are wider than stock wheels for optimal tire grip but NOT staggered and no crazy stretch, and camber that is tuned for optimal performance. Bonus points for light weight wheels, more bonus points for being corner weighted.

So, you guys STILL don't know the difference between HellaFunctional and hellaflush, helllaslammed, and ......HellaStock? :lawl:

I thought Justin made it quite clear. I know exactly what he meant.

Yes, there's going to be some variance in personal opinion... but no one should putting cars with stock height, or stock wheels, or cars that are almost tucking rim, who can't drive over 25 mph without damaging something, or someone who will rip their entire fender off if they hit a bump while taking a 90 degree turn.

smh.

staying on topic..... not the MOST HellaFunctional, but this car carved up roads. I can only imagine how much better it would've been with something stiffer than Tein Basics.
