How differently does the F22 and J30 react as far as Intakes and Exhausts go?

I hear people say that it's really not worth putting headers, exhaust, and intake on the F22 because the HP gains are not worth the price.

How would the same bolt ons compare to a Honda with a J30, though. I was wondering is the increase in HP would be greater because of the bigger engine.

J30 with ------- Injen Short Ram... Magnaflow Exhaust... Megan Headers
F22 with ------- Injen Short Ram... Magnaflow Exhaust... Megan Headers

Is one worth the investment more than the other?

J30 is a 3.0 v6, f23 is a 2.3L i4. The v6 will make more power, but is an auto tranny, unless you do the swap. The f23 is a fine motor for modest power, unless you turbo, then you make much more power.

It depends on what your goals are. You can do the same stuff to both motors, but you have more potential power from the 3.0, just based on displacement. To truly harness it, you would want a manual tranny.
