How to replace starter

what year is your accord.? it maybe under recall and get it fixed for free at the dealer.

My Accord is 1996 EX Sedan Model.

may need breaker bar for the two bolts holding starter.

I took out the starter last night and yes it was tight as hell and I have to use the breaker bar.

nvm its only for 6th gen.

You will probably have to move the radiator and A/C lines somewhat to get the starter out. I know coolant is in the way, but it can be moved and still connected.

^^^^ I took out the radiator hose and it created enough space for me to pull out the old starter. Tighting the back bolt of the starter is a pain in the ***.

now is this for 4cyl or 6cy cause I have been tapping my starter with a hammer when it dies

For a 4 cyl, I'd imagine V6 would be similar, just a different location.

I've never asked for rep, I was simply responding to what was said about rep points. Anyone who's ever given points to me did so on their own accord.
