Here's the problem I see with those manifolds...we dont have that much firewall space.

I know with the RSX it's hard to work with but I'm sure I should have a good amount of space when the motor is mounted in my car what do you think? I know for the standard F or H series motors we have no firewall to work with.


I did not pick up the cams and cam gears when I got the head cylinder a few days ago so here are the K20Z1 cams and cam gears.

Its like that will all K swap. Thats why they made the side swinder manifold.


I'm more worried about it hitting the overhang or getting to close to it rather than the actual wall. Also, take into consideration the brake master cyl is right there, throttle cable, etc. Obviously there are ways around that stuff, just something I thought of.

No one in their right mind would shove a turbo and manifold in an area with zero airflow...well...no one besides volkswagen.

Good points but I'm sure it will work out, I'll see how much room there is to play with, I can always go with other types of manifolds that are more basic. The turbo will be phase 2 of the build after break in period of the motor anways that's the least of my worries at this point.

I say get the bamf manifold and a hammer. Show that firewall who's boss.
