Update:

Changed my oil yesterday, instead of putting the regular 10W-30 in I went with a slightly heavier 10W-40, still Mobil1 with a K&N filter. I have noticed a pattern in when I see the light flashing at me. After the engine has been warmed to the point when the fans kick on to cool it down and when I am sitting still idling. I am waiting to see it again, hoping to never see it. We'll see what happens.

Our cars have a low oil light? Just curious, which one is it? I would stick with a higher mileage oil incase your car is burning or leaking oil somewhere causing the light to come on. Plus, higher mileage oils have additives to prolong the life of your motor. I started using Mobil 1 5W-30 High Mileage and it's been burning a lot less oil.

Still running good, no warning light. Seems like I either had a faulty reading or my bearings are on their way out.
