Looking great as always Chris. When should the front lip be complete?

And you ever think of replacing your rear V6 badge with an 8th Gen V6 badge? Or you think its too big and flashy?

Because it's so much bigger than the stock 6GA badge, I think a reposition should have been in order.

The angle of the picture makes it look like its right on the edge. Its close to the edge but not that close. I'm sure if I was careful enough I could reposition it. But I'm fine with it.

Thanks for looking. What’s making this hard is that I’ve decided that for what it is, I don’t want to spend a lot just to switch trunks, it’s not worth a bunch of money when what I have now works fine. I’m switching for looks only. So I need to either buy one for cheap that I can repaint, or pay a fair amount for one that’s already SMR and in great shape and can go right on the car.

Junk yards don’t take good enough care of their cars, so I’ve had zero luck with Car-part and the like. I’ve been keeping my eye on Ebay classifieds and CL, but nothing yet.

Just as a side note the CF trunks are $650-$800 these days on Ebay…

Nice John. I had not thought of that, mainly because it’s a different typeface than our Accord emblem. So unless I got rid of the Accord emblem, they wouldn’t match. But as you may have noticed the Accord emblem is indeed gone, it fell off a couple weeks ago haha. I have the 7GA red V6 emblem on the car because it designates cars that are 6MT’s, that’s why I have it. But when I figure out what’s up with my trunk situation, it may be taken into consideration. I have a few emblems for the new trunk…not sure which one I’ll go with just yet. I like the way it looks on your car though!

The lip should be done this week, but I know he’s busy so it may not be until next week. Then I’m going to wait another week for the paint to breathe more, then I’ll get it clearbra’d, which will be another few days. I’m not in too much of a rush, but it will be nice to get it back.

I've seen the CF hoods/trunks on ebay, not sure if those sellers got the memo that no one is really buying those anymore, so perhaps they should be priced to sell.

In all seriousness, maybe you should try and set something up with Steve(Steverino) and see if someone can bring down his trunk lid for you for IA.
