Get a JDM F23. They are cheap enough. Out of the box you will get better throttle response and a boost in midrange torque that you can feel. Once you get it, port the head and intake manifold, and add a larger throttle body, bigger injectors, and a better fuel pump. Add I/H/E to this.

In terms of "bang for the buck" this is about the best deal for the 4 cylinder Accord. If you want more than this, then it's time to do an H swap or a K swap.

It's unfortunate there is no simply answer to improve the HP/TQ numbers for our car.

Guess it really comes down to your budget and how much of an increase you are looking for.

You've pretty much been giving every option available to you, just a matter of doing some research to find out what works best for you.

whatever you do, don't buy a bunch of bolt-ons. I've been down that road, very little return on the dollar

to give you an example with an AEM intake, header, and a full 2.5 exhaust my car dyno'd at like 130 or 140 something (dyno sheet is in my build thread I believe). Thats a 5speed too. The engine did have 260k+ miles though it was still running strong.
