Thanks, I might boost it later on. For now Im just gonna roll stock with a nice exhaust.

In the future I may buy a brand new GTE block for about 2 grand on L-tuned website. Upgrade the valve body on the transmission. Im usually into manuals, but the 5 speed e-shift with turbo makes for a nice drive.

Yeah, I understand the whole lexus badge thing. I'd perfer it said toyota, but ohwell...its still a toyota at heart.

Toyota autos are strong transmissions; the supra auto trans is ****ing serious. I'm not sure about the Lexus tiptronic though.

I've been considering picking up a 1991 turbo targa. It's not the new body, but it's still a supra. And for a cheap ***, with limited funds, it's good enough for me.

The lexus transmission is the same transmission out of a non-turbo supra. Im not sure if the supra is a 5 speed tho...I know the Aristo is a 4 speed....most automatic is300's that do the aristo swap just use their 5 speeds autos instead. Just upgrade the valve body and you have a pretty badass DD.

The targa has a wonderful engine. Its not that hard to work on either, lots and lots of interchangable parts...and a lot of aftermarket support. Including TRD.

Glad you got the head back.

...and no I'm not an "undercover". I'm a licensed private investigator in Texas but it gives me access to several databases that the general public doesn't have access to. The guy he was dealing with didn't have much info in these databases that I use, so I wasn't much help to him. Usually I can find a TON of info on people, but the main database I use only covers Texas, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, but there are a few things (such as arrest records, criminal history, etc. that I can get in all 50 states). Just a name provided can get me a good start, but I'm usually digging pretty deep for the stuff I work on. (I work for an oil & gas company here in Texas working on title/legal stuff for them, and finding people is just part of my job).

I hate those lights... So over played, and hideous on almost all vehicles.

Tinted... they might look decent.

Yeah, I hate them too. But funny thing is, they look good on the IS. They're even koito, which is a pretty well know jdm brand.
