need help on how to remove rims with the bolts shredded

hi i was wondering if anyone knew how to remove rims off a car if the bolts holding them on are shredded? thanks.

What do you mean shredded? Can you provide us a pic? There are extractor tools for any circumstance.

the rims are at my friends house and he wont be back till monday so i can get pics up by then. I believe when he tried removing the bolts before, he somehow ruined the thread on the bolt? im not sure if these are the correct terms, but its somehow like unable to take it off with a wrench?

Ok, so you're saying the lug nut is seized on the lug stud and the wheel can't come off now?

i am unable to remove the lugnut because its stripped (if thats what you mean)?? i'm working my way up with better terms. sorry for the rookieness and thanks for the help though russian.

How did he strip them? was he using the wrong socket and an air gun or something?

take it to a tire shop and get it off

i cross threaded a lug nut before....i just kept undoing the lug nut until the stud snapped...then just replaced the stud

mannnn i hope he isnt using air tools if he doesnt even know to pick the right size.

but i say whatever the case, snap it off and replace the stud and nut.
