Cut your muffler/s off. Or just unbolt, and drop them. Guarenteed H.P. haha... and noise. Since that was my goal. Not to mention it had the wrong muffler on it and it was smashed and rusted out... I now get 38mpg at 70mph. instead of 29. Lol

You can burn your exhaust valves from not having enough back-pressure.

You might be able to find a beat up S13 with a 5 spd for around a stack, a lil bit more power than our cars, a much better layout, and way way way more potential.

Go From 150hp net. To 124Hp Net? Ugh, s13. They are interesting cars to say the least.

actually the single cam KA24E pushes about 140hp and the same amount of t/q as a F23 ... the dual cam non-turbo KA24DE found in later s13's has about 155hp and 160tq ... then when you compare the power/weight ratio between a 6GA and a s13 ... giving the s13 has the upper hand :booty:

Glad somebody backed up my statement I forgot to come back. I am more partial to the S13 chassis than the S14 I had.

Need HP, you can do major weight reduction, and increase your power to weight to ratio. There isn't much you can accomplish with a 500 dollar budget for HP AND 500 dollar budget for audio system.

Have you thought about forgoing the sub route and just get a nice set of components?

Are you gonna keep it that way or do you have future plans?
