It could potentially cause a boat-look effect too, in addition to not lowering your car as much as you would want it to. However, Neuspeed Race Springs are known to be some of the best and I would go for it if these are more in your budget as opposed to coils.

There is another question though - will the stock struts blow out? I know that with the green Neuspeed Sport Springs, stock struts were perfect (I had them installed myself a few years ago), but with the yellow Neuspeed Race Springs, due to the additional lower drop, it may shorten the life of your struts and cause them to blow out.

You really gotta think about and weigh everything before getting them.

Personally, I would just get coils if you can afford it - adjustable and reliable.

Ah gotcha, missed that part. Well then boat look would be the only potential problem, even then there is a DIY to fix that..

That's your mistake

I thought he was doing the same. Lol I was still in the process of typing when he posted that his friend already had the Tokicos.

Correction: Lowering springs are fine! On performance shocks that can handle it. (Coils are still better though :hihi:)

What kind of Tokico's does your frien have? If blues, they still might blow but if illumina's, then he should be fine. They are most likely V6 springs since they are backwards compatible so the spring rate will be higher and won't drop the car as low. The upside is that you will get better handling from the stiffer spring. I believe H&R are the same company as Neuspeed. They make both 4 cyl and V6 versions of the race spring which provide a 2.2 drop in the front and 1.7 in the rear. I have them on and it seems the front has a half finger gap more than the rear. However, it doesn't have the boat look, it's the same height all around.
