for the valley 6geners is a pretty long drive to all these places... in my opinion i say we find a park or something between la n the oc... so it can be far for everyone...:coffee:

Most 6GA member are out of 213/562/626/714 central LA/OC areas. All of us in the 949/818 areas are screwed cause we have the longest drives regardless of where we meet.

Dude, where do you live anyways - for someone who's supposed to like canyons, you're not too motivated. :slap::hihi:

i live in thousand oaks. all the links for google maps show how far away i am. lol. and the santa monica mountains are 15min from my house :)

No wonder - you need to get out of your nest. :)

Anywhere we meet is at least an 45-1hr for most members. More for others I know but the point is to change it up.

I'll drive to SD or Victorville - I can drive 300 miles on $30 of fuel, big deal. :badger: If you can't go cause you have other plans/work that's understood - not wanting to drive a bit of distance  whatever.

hey, idk if you realize this but i've been to tons of meets in LA and OC. most of the time driving 2+ hrs in traffic. and i'm fine with that. but driving up to 4 hours 1 way is kinda past my limit.

I'm all for a 6ga Ortega cruise. That road is way fun. We could also have someone sit at one of the turns and record the whole 6ga crew rolling through at once. :D

I think every pone is willing to drive, but driving excessively far is a drawback and causes potential for less attendees.

Im down for whatever, like i said before, no matter where we decide Im gonna go. Im just trying to make it fair fir everyone else. Obviously its not gonna be fair for me but i dont give a sh!t lol. I just wanna see some bada$$ rides and meet/see some chill people.

The places I indicated seem to be pretty fair for all participants. However, it needs to be a majority vote. Lets not focus on whats best for us individually but rather focus on whats best for the whole.

4 HOURS ONE WAY!?! Better double check: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sou...42,-118.248596&spn=0.768819,1.778412&t=h&z=10

I can see 4-hours round trip with some traffic headed home but not at 7-8am. I'll agree, you're way on the other end unlike other people - with exeption of Victorville.

w/ tolls it's about 2hrs. and considering my laziness/ lack of ability to wake up early on a weekend i'll probably just sit this one out. lol
