well guys its sunday night i figure that i update you. Well the clutch issue...was not it, we put everything brand new ACT and nothing better.
SO if anyone here WANTS A STAGE 3 XTD clutch, LIGHTENED FLYWHEEL, etc. with about 100 miles on them, let me know dont need obviously now!!!
That was the first thing that we tested when i arrived their yesterday. After that, we compression tested the car, which came up 200, 177, 176, 177 for the cylinders.
Then we oil pressure tested the car and that read 20 at idle and 45-50 at 3thousand rpms.
We took apart the dizzy and tested that for any issues.
We also forced a boost leak to double check for any type of boost leak...we actually did that before the other checks.
We basically came to the conclusion that something mechanically was not allowing the car to rev past 4500grand(give or take). We realized this becuase we placed the car back on the obd2 ecu and disconnected the charge pipes for the turbo, have the car run close as possible to stock, with a turbo sticking on the exhaust. The car still showed the same issue of get caught around 4500. My car has also started making a noticable knock from the bottom end now. Greatttttt luck aaaa!!!!
After all this we sat around and tryed bouncing ideas around as to what could be wrong with the car, but everything basically pointed to the engine now with this knock noise. I then explained to them that when i replaced the bottom end, it was with a yard motor that was already a short block and i got it for about 100 bucks. All my mechanic did was drop the oil pan and check to see if eveything was ok, but i did not replace seals, rings, or any rebuild parts like that, new head gasket and went with it.
Now that the car is making a noise, it is hard to say if whether or not it was their before i started putting on the turbo, being that i hardly drove it before i broke it down for the install, or that the huge amount of oil leaking from the car after i installed the oil pan gasket and driving the car to the muffler shop and tuning shop low on oil; could have very well hurt something inside.
So basically i left the tuning shop yesterday with a sick feeling from the thought that i may have to end up rebuilding the bottom end of the engine, or mostly likely go the cheaper and easier route of sourcing a new f23 engine. The guys at the shop and i figured that we all take a couple of days and try to figure all possible aves and the most cost effective. And yeah... i threw-up when i got home.
P.S. Emmino thanks for the help over the phone bro.
