Your first mistake was buying springs.

Take my advice and most members in here and save up as much as you need for coilovers. You will not be disappointed.

Also take a look at the suspension review thread for prices and different options.

What type of shocks are you on?
+1

How were your top hats when you put on the springs?

Lube up the suspension components with silicone spray. If that doesn't do it then you have other problems. Good luck with it.

Yup, I second that - silicone spray and it'll be ok. Be sure to get way up on there where the coil spring and upper mounts are, and also spray lower mounts - you want to get the area where the spring rests on those 2 mounts, don't just spray the spring coils in center area. Good luck and hit me up for some coilovers when ready ;) lol.
