That setup is ridiculous! My boy has that same chassis and i'm tryin to convince him to go brushless with it.

You'd burn through drift tires in a few runs :rofl:

it'll drift nicely on very smooth surfaces (garage coated concrete) but it's not as great on normal paved road - I'll be making them out of PVC pipe!

Was bored this weekend cause the weather was ****ty, so i decided to do some work on the V-dub shell.

My first attempt at a cage scratch built:

I have a homemade set of LED head and tail lights ready to go in, gotta mount the fender flares, paint wheels, and a few other things........

i have 2, both already painted though. One is done in black currant :) lol

My next project will be a form for a coupe so i can do repros

I dig that custom work. Keep us posted on the progress of the FJ.

Do you post on scale4x4rc? there are some insane projects on that site.....
