Valentine 1 owns. Worth every penny, and it may be coming up soon on my investment list.. Probably after a re-tune.

I dont like the valentine too much... It's way too sensitive and goes off WAYYY too much.

I personally like the Beltronics STI or the Beltronics GX 65.

If I had a fast car...perhaps I would buy one.

I'm sure I will when I get my 08 TL-S :hihi:

...in a few years :sad:

I got Valentine1 and I love it.
#1 saved me bunch of times
#2 does not make me go any faster
#3 cops may pull your A#S for going 5mph over the speed limit and if any of you consider 5mph over the speed limit speeding you're nuts, just like those hungry cops
#4 It's nice to know where cops are hiding, because a lot of times you do not see them at night, or incase they drive an undercover car. And thanks to many people who do not use radars cops are not as aggressive to catching people with radar detectors, so they turn their radars on and just wait till someone without a radar goes 5mph over the speed limit.

Laser jammers are cool too if you like speeding on the highways, 'cause almost all cops use laser to clock your speed on the highway. :peace:

my theory, if you're moving with traffic you don't need one. if you're responsible behind the wheel you don't need one. our cars are not built for high speeds. and unless you're on the highways and make your living traveling you don't have an excuse to need one. speeding is speeding, if you're doing it you're breaking the law and have all the right in the world to get a ticket.

grow up, slow down, save gas, keep money in your bank account and be less miserable

I agree with you 100%, except for when the speed limit is just ridiculously too low for a stretch of road and it's unsafe to go the posted limit because everyone else is going faster than that. I understand that I do not drive a race car - the fastest I ever drive is on on-ramps to match the speed of the traffic on the interstate. I just think it would be nice to know when and where cops are lurking. And as such, one major concern I have is the fact that if I did have a radar detector and was pulled over, for whatever the reason, I would be more likely to get a ticket because of said detector. I don't think that's fair, but so far it's kept me from getting one.

:bump:Quick response;

If a person likes to speed, it's fine with me, if a person likes to drive slowly and obey the law that's also fine with me. My theory is that we are all different in so many ways, and we all do something that we shouldn't and if it is speeding that one loves - more power to him, and if a radar helps him out to avoid the ticket even better. If one likes to put a lot of money into upgrading his car so that it would go faster and still does not speed even 5mph over the speed limit - it is also fine with me. I like to speed, and my V1 has helped me alot, I do not drive like crazy but I speed once in a while, and if someone things that I need to grow up, it can only mean that they are not older than 15 :))) lol There's so many things that a society should do could do differently and better, that speeding ranks near the bottom.
