Rear diffuser options?

what material do you guys think would be the best and cheapest to mock up a diffuser? Next week I go on a 2 week vacation and will have too much free time. You think cardboard and some flat black paint would give a pretty good idea of how a diffuser would look?

I had always wanted to get a J's diffuser from the s2000 or RSX but I felt it was too expensive of a gamble for an item that might not fit well. The sedan rear is too high with a bare a$$.

Can't wait to see what you guys come up with though.

Cardboard will work.

If you plan on flat-black spray paint it sounds like you want to 'test' it, lol. It might even work fine.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if that would take enough stress, 1/8 = 0.125" but I thought that might need 3/16 = 0.1875".

Found this and would be all over the mod if I had the disposable income; full skid plate with a gradient diffuser meeting inside the rear bumper:
