I'm wondering, has anyone(DIY) ever made a rear strut bar for the coupe? I'm pretty certain it has never been made by any company, sadly..

I'm looking foward to make one next year, and looking for some ideas for something that's functionnal and decent looking.

I'll try to give you guys more info on what i'm thinking of doing (gotta take some pics). In the meanwhile, if anyone has a link to one that's been made, it would be grrrrreat!

i remember there are a couple around...but the companies don't make them anymore

its kinda a dumb idea tho...since the shock towers are already connected by the rear deck which is plenty strong....

orrr...make an xbrace for where the seat pass through is...be stronger

This would be the better idea.

The C-pillar bar was more show than go....although I wouldn't be opposed to putting it in the sedan....just cuz. :coffee:

I have my car completely empties out and noticed the struts are not in the best position for a rear tower strut bar. To be honest, it would be more cosmetic anyhow. But, don't let me stop you. I would like to see how it turns out.
