So I just put my tokico hps and tein s techs on and while I was driving down the street To get an aligment I found out my rear tires are rubbing at turns and over bumps on the road. I run 18x8 wheels with 225/40. Does anybody run this set up on an 01 accord ex v6?... How could I fix this? I remember having to cut part of my bump stop on the rear shocks acording to the tein instructions, if I would get other bump stops and put them on without cutting part of it would it get it to stop rubbin or will I have some other issue if I do that?

Get other bump stops? haha lol don't think it would solve that.

If you are rubbing in the back, then its your bumper, if your rubbing up front, its your fender liner. It will rub to the point where it will stop once enough bumper/fender liner got rubbed off. I have the same issue in the back so I just relocated the tab and cut off a bit of the bumper and bend the inside fender/quarter where it meets. Now its nice and not rubbing anymore.

shorter tires = smaller overall diameter = wrong speed readings = BAD

spacers for a guy already rubbing isnt gonna helping anything

you need to try and see whats rubbing in the rear, most likely the bumper tab, you can try to cut the bumper tab a little to see if it'll fix it otherwise you'll have to get a little more aggressive with it and relocate the screw a little further back and grind away the metal and bumper material thats interfering

both my rears look like that shredded :D 18 x8 35 offset it's my bumper tab that keeps hitting it. I'm going to relocate it and cut the bumper.
