Does anyone have any DIY steps for installing a rear wing / spoiler?

Searched the web quite a bit only to find an install for the 8th gen accords.

Thanks!

honestly dude, i'd just pay to get that done professionally. prob wouldn't cost much at all. I just don't trust my mechanical skills when I'd have to drill holes in my trunk lid.

What spoiler are you putting on? OEM, Lip Spoiler, Mugen?

I am still confused on why the trunk springs need to be changed out or reinforced.

I am just putting on an OEM one. Ive always liked them, dont know why.

LOL. Thanks. I think I am just going to not care and put the wing on. As long as I measure everything correctly, I cant see where anything can go wrong. I dont think Ill be hooking up the Spoiler Brake light up either if its too much trouble.

I added the wing to my coupe. Its I think like 4 holes that need to be drilled. I had a shop do mine cause I am terrible with measuring. It was pretty easy though took like a half hour. And yeah the springs are for the additional weight of the spoiler. I didnt add them on mine so its a little annoying but when the trunk is open all the way itll stay like that and wont fall so its not a huge deal

Wow, this is very useful information. How hard was the wiring? I got my wing from a junkyard, so there are no bolts and the wire is pretty much stripped.
