Why wouldn't it be inspection worthy if it was in the open (or stock flow) position when the inspection was done? They have no right to say whether you can have that or not - so long as it passes emissions and "stays open" lol.

you could spend half that on a resonator and muffler combination and achieve the same effect. True, you could not go quiet to a lil loud but,

you do have to worry about the valve motor going bad on that high dollar muffler.

Explain how what I suggested is any different than that exhaust system.

Having that valve in the muffler would be an eye sore. If you made your own exhaust you could put it under the car out of sight. Although really, unless your pushing some push or going to the drag strip on a regular basis, it's kinda pointless.
