you need to get a real piggy back like aem fic or emanage blue/ultimate. dont worry about retard timing. get a real piggy and get retuned u will be fine.. im running 6psi and tuned on emanage blue ... and look on ebay for 1 sided intercooler it will make ur setup look way better.

Thanks man I was looking at the BTM and they don't make one for coil on plug systems, unfortunately. I found a AEM FIC for about $400 new. I read that it's better than Greddy Emanage for OBD II, and apparently the AEM setup offers a lot more tuning options than the Greddy without buying all sorts of additional harnesses and equipment.

Does anyone know if the AEM FIC can efficiently retard timing on a V6 coil on plug system. I was reading on their website and it was saying that it only worked for 3 coil packs.

I dont know alot about Ignition timing, I thought that our cars had six coils. Whether or not that is different from having 6 coil packs i don't know, does one coil pack ignite more than one coil? If anyone knows some more about ignition timing or where I could get some information that would be great. Most info I've found online has been scattered and brief.

Also chiefy on the 1 sided intercooler, is there a specific company I should look for that makes that option or are there lot of options for them? I've had some trouble finding them.

Don't you think that maybe you should've gotten this information BEFORE turbocharging your car?

Yeah no ****, but I didn't. So instead of wasting thread space and time with comments like your last one, why dont you share some real information, If you actually know anything about this topic that would be remotely useful to me or other 6thgeners.

I've seen you on these forums and I've read a lot of things you have posted, and you spend a whole lot of time saying nothing at all. From what I've read you waste too much time sucking and not a lot of time sharing anything useful espeacially to noobs, which turns a lot of people off from forums like these. Learn when not to talk dude.

Oh and i wouldn't be suprised to get a warning for that comment since everytime some writes somethin about you that you dont like you just edit their post and send them a warning like a child. Freakin lame bro.

sigh... I see this negative comment rant (not yours TurboAV6) on all the forums I read.

TurboAV6 is simply asking for help and we should all help him with any knowledge we have. If you think he made a mistake with his project, help him correct his mistake. If you think he is going down the wrong avenue with his turbo, help him go down the right avenue. How is he suppose to learn correctly if you only bash him and do not provide positive and informative replys?

We all have to learn by some method, whether it be by friends or posting question in forums.

** I'm still learning the Naturally Aspirated side of my J30A1, so I can't help you with the timing question Mr. TurboAv6, sorry.
